The inlay is a Blue opal and it's just stunning with they are wire post the earrings are marked 9.25 on the back but this is a common thing that happens when you buy from china. You have to be careful for people selling sterling silver just because there is a stamp does not mean it's silver. It should but I am honest so was my supplier when asked what they were made of.
